
I will never get tired of a good cookie dipped in milk, which is why I cook them so often. I also like to vary the ingredients for a change and to taste all the variations that are available to a simple cookie. This recipe has been a huge success, which is why it deserves to be shared with you.
* Ingredients :
° 2 cups flour
° 2 teaspoons baking powder
° ½ teaspoon salt
° ½ cup shortening
° ¼ cup milk
° 1 egg
° 1 cup white sugar
° 1 teaspoon almond extract
° 1 ½ teaspoons lemon zest
° 1 cup fresh blueberries
* Directions :
Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, cream the shortening, sugar, egg, milk, almond extract, and lemon zest. Blend very well after adding every ingredient. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt; blend into the sugar mixture. Fold in the blueberries. Cover and chill for 4 hours.
Step 2
Preheat oven at 375 F. Fall dough per teaspoonfuls to ungreased cookie sheets, for 1 1/2 inches aside.
Step 3
Baking 13 to 14 min in a preheated oven. Permit cookies cooled on baking sheets about some min before transmitting to wire racks to cool totally.
