
No Bake Banana Split Dessert

° 150 g sugar

° 50 g cornstarch
-
° 1/4 teaspoon of salt
-
° 4 egg yolks
-
° 60 cl of milk
-
° 2 tbsp of butter
-
° 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
° 16 speculoos cookies
-
° 24 cl of whipping cream
-
° 3 bananas
-
° 60 g dark chocolate
Preparation :
First put- the sugar,- cornstarch and– salt in a- large- saucepan and mix -them -together.
Then pour- the- milk on- top, mix with- the whisk -afterwards add the egg yolks- while -whisking.
Then put your- saucepan over- medium heat -while whisking, once the first -bubble forms,- reduce the heat and continue -to cook for 1 minute.
After- removing the pan- from -the heat- add the butter and vanilla,- then whisk- again and- let cool.
Break the- cookies- in -half crosswise- then place 1/3 at- the bottom- of a- dish,- spread- 1/2 of -your -vanilla- pudding on -top.
Peel and -cut -the bananas into -slices, -place the -half -on top of the vanilla- then- place the -1/3 of the -cookies on -top, after the 1/2 of vanilla -and the- rest of the bananas.
Spread the- rest- of the- cookies on- top -then put- your -dish in the fridge -for at- least 3 hours.
Melt the -chocolate- either in a- double- boiler -or in the microwave, take your- dish- out of -the fridge,- pour the melted chocolate on- top- and then put- it back in- the fridge for 15 minutes.
Finally here- is your -banana -cake- without- baking, cut -and serve… bon appétit to all.
